Gertrude‘s mother Minnie Wisberg

Aubrey Wisberg in the news and a photo at the premiere of his film “The Burning Cross” in
1947. This film was about a War veteran who joins the KluKlux Clan. He ends up regarding
them as evil. The film was banned in Virginia and Detroit USA. We should be very proud
that Aubrey was brave enough to make a film that shows racism for the evil it was and still
is today

Claude Wisberg was born 10th June 1917 in London, England and was the brother of Aubrey Wisberg.
Like his brother he also had a career in the movies . His path was a very different road to his brother.
Most of his roles were uncredited. This did not stop Claude appearing in some of the most famous
movies of all time. Sadly Claude passed away August 16th 1988. The discovery of Claude’s career was
by chance during one of my grave searches. Like his brother he was a real trooper.
Claude appeared in at least 16 movies in all . Here are a few of the more famous ones .
